Singapore gets Pulau Batu Puteh (Pedra Branca)

The International Court of Justice here today ruled Singapore has sovereignty over Pulau Batu Puteh while Malaysia owns Middle Rocks, and South Ledge belongs to the state in whose territorial waters it is located.

We loose, Singapore will extend her maritime boundary and probably control of the Johor Straits. Are they going to charge a toll? Send their new attack warships to patrol it? Setting radar defense and air to air missile? Incorporate this into their ‘Forward Defence’ strategy? Ah!!!… Let the Singaporeans eat that rock la!

Here’s some interesting trivia.

The person representing Malaysia at trial was Sir Elihu Lauterpacht, whose father, Sir Hersch, was a Jewish international lawyer, and heavily involved with the founding of Israel. Malaysia meanwhile does not even recognize the state of Israel! Malaysia now gets on their knees and turn to a Zionist professor’s son to win them land…. Malaysia Boleh!

A truly national embarrassment on the international stage by a bunch of incompetent, incredulous and half-baked Malaysian legal team-members. Go to Jeff Ooi’s Screenshot for the detailed analysis of our stupid Malaysian lawyers’ performance at the International Court of Justice, in The Hague.

How to Set the Right Product Price

How to Set the Right Product Price

There are many outside influences that affect profitability and a manufacturer bottom line. Setting the right price is a crucial step toward achieving that profit. Manufacturer is in business to make a profit, but figuring out what and how to price products may not come easily.

Before we can determine which retail pricing strategy to use in setting the right price, we must know the costs associated with the products. Two key elements in factoring product cost is the cost of goods and the amount of operating expense.

The cost of goods includes the amount paid for the product, plus any handling expenses. The cost of operating the business, or operating expense, includes overhead, payroll, marketing and office supplies.

Regardless of the pricing strategy used, the retail price of the products should more than cover the cost of obtaining the goods plus the expenses related to operating the business.

A retailer or manufacturer simply cannot succeed in business if they continue to sell their products below cost.

Why Malay Malaysia Eat Using Hand?

Why Malay Malaysia Eat Using Hand?

The Malays use the tips of their fingers only, rarely staining their palms. Deft finger movements tear meat, pick up vegetables and gather it with rice into a tight bite-size grip. Then using the thumb, this food is gently and neatly ‘shoveled’ into the mouth. Traditionally, Malays eat with their right hand even if they are left-handed because it is considered taboo to eat with the left hand. The left hand, it is understood, is reserved for an unmentionable personal use.

I would say eating with fingers is a Malay custom. It’s awkward if you’ve never tried it before but somehow, food always taste better when you eat with your fingers… must be the chemical makeup on the skin, i think. However, over here, we only eat with fingers for certain kind of food - certainly when eating nasi lemak, malay mix rice and the various rotis and tosei. When it comes to Chinese food such as noodles and such, we fall back to the fork and spoon or chopsticks. At some Malay or Mamak restaurant, it is the understanding that you’ll be eating with your hands, therefore cutleries would not be provided… if you really need them, you’ll have to ask for them. They would probably give you a pair wrapped in paper or a whole stack in a basket

There are mainly 3 major ethnic group in Malaysia; Malay, Chinese and Indian. Malay and Indian usually eat their mix rice using hand but make sure you are using right hand, eating using left hand is considered inappropriate. The Chinese usually use their chopstick. But in almost all restaurants/stalls/food court do provide clean cutleries.

Kenapa Orang Melayu Makan Guna Tangan

It was TV polluted our Malay child mind?

It was TV polluted our Malay child mind?

When we watch Television our minds process visuals and words at a very fast rate. Fast visuals and words are making the mind more and more restless. Now imagine how it must be for a child aged three, whose experience is almost entirely handled by these lower brain functions, because the rational part of the brain has barely begun to develop. For them, television is real.

Most people know that the human brain is composed of several parts. Some of these parts enable rational thought, and they know perfectly well that what is coming out of the little television box is not real. But other parts of your brain are not so smart. These are the older parts of the brain, the parts that allow you to dodge flying objects faster than you can think, trigger the fight or flight response, and make you afraid of snakes and darkness. These parts don’t know that the TV images aren’t real. They evolved at a time when there was no television, and everything seen by the eyes could be trusted.

Harus bijak had masa tonton TV

JANGAN terlalu menonton televisyen kerana ia meleka dan membuang masa sedangkan waktu terbuang itu patut digunakan mentelaah pelajaran atau melakukan aktiviti berfaedah. Memang seronok menonton apatah lagi jika disajikan pelbagai cerita dan genre tetapi perlu ada had. Naluri sukakan kartun, atau animasi seperti Ultraman dan Superman sukar dinafikan tapi biarlah berpada. Bukannya tidak boleh tapi perlu ada jadual.

Umat Islam Malaysia perlu boikot produk Belanda

Umat Islam Malaysia perlu boikot produk Belanda

Respond From Malaysia

Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, a member of the Cabinet of Malaysia government, has urged Muslim intellectuals and youths to “take advantage of their resourcefulness and skills which they had used against the establishment, this time to defend Islam” through the internet.

The Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party, an opposition policial party, delivered a letter to the Dutch embassy warning that the film would “invite vengeance”, and, along with former president Mahathir bin Mohamad, called for a worldwide Muslim boycott of Dutch goods. Tun Mahadir bin Mohamad said: “If the world’s 1.3 billion Muslims unite and say they won’t buy, then it [the boycott] will be effective.” The Muslim Consumers Association of Malaysia, the Consultative Council, and the Muslim Restaurants Association of Malaysia released a joint statement referring to Fitna as having “openly insulted the Quran”, and called on Muslims to boycott Dutch goods. Malay supermarket Mydin has marked Dutch goods in red, indicating their country of origin.

There was a further demonstration outside the Dutch embassy in Kuala Lumpur on April 4, 2008, attended by approximately fifty members of the Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party.

Sedikit tentang Geert Wilder.
