How to Recover Stolen Domain Name

It is scary to think that someone can take control of a domain so easily. As David Airey shows, it may take a few days, but it is quite possible to recover control on a domain which is hijacked while you remain the owner

1. Sign up on the registrar which now holds the domain, Godaddy in our example (you could be liable for the account).
2. Download and fill out a paper form Undo of Change. Sign the form.
3. Make a copy of your identity card or driving licence.
4. Scan and send them as attachments via e-mail.

This document allows to cancel the transfer of registrar if it is under way, or to give control on the domain otherwise. Note that it will take longer if the transfer is complete rather than under way.

If the cracker has managed to become owner of the domain, a procedure with ICANN will be necessary, it is longer.

Shutdown your computer in single click

Actually I lied. Actually a double-click. But that doesn’t sound like a good title right? :p It very easy if you want to shut down in hurry.

It is really simple, and this will work under Microsoft Windows XP and Microsoft Windows 2003 - not sure if it will work under Microsoft Windows Vista, but I would imagine the UAC prompt would ruin the whole experience.

Open notepad and put in the following text:

shutdown.exe -s -t 00

Save it on the desktop as “Shutdown.bat”

Now if you double click on the icon “Shutdown” your system will shutdown immediately with no questions asked.

4. Satu capaian untuk anda memindah turun perisian Wi-Fi Mobile akan dihantar ke telefon bimbit melalui khidmat pesanan ringkas (SMS).

5. Apabila anda mengklik di atas capaian, perisian OneFone akan dipasang di dalam telefon bimbit anda.

6. Pilih sambungan Internet yang diinginkan dengan menekan menu > IAP, anda boleh memilih untuk menggunakan sambungan Wi-Fi atau sambungan 3G.

5. Selepas memilih sambungan, masukkan nombor telefon yang hendak dihubungi seperti biasa. Pastikan Ikon telefon berwarna hijau sebelum membuat panggilan. Apabila panggilan dijawab, bercakaplah seperti biasa. Kualiti suara bergantung kepada kualiti sambungan Internet yang digunakan. Jika anda melanggan perkhidmatan 3G Data tanpa had, perisian ini juga boleh membuat panggilan melalui sambungan Internet 3G itu.

6. Telefon rakan anda yang sudah dipasang dengan perisian OneFone ini akan berdering seperti biasa dan perbualan boleh dilakukan seperti biasa tanpa dikenakan sebarang caj tambahan.

7. Selepas membuat panggilan tekan Options dan pilih Hang Up untuk menghentikan panggilan.

Oleh kerana teknik panggilan ini menggunakan kemudahan Internet, anda boleh berbual di mana saja asalkan ada kemudahan Wi-Fi tanpa dikenakan bayaran panggilan telefon seperti yang biasa.

Hotmail Founder Sabeer Bhatia to Marry in Langkawi

The founder of Hotmail.com, Sabeer Bhatia is getting married next month. He has chosen the Island of Langkawi, Malaysia as the venue of his wedding.

In 1995, Sabeer Bhatia and his team realised the potential of a web-based e-mail system and thus decided to create one called HoTMaiL (the uppercase letters spelling out HTML - the language used to write the base of a webpage).In order to attract attention, the e-mail service was provided for free and revenue was obtained through the advertising on the website. Draper Fisher Ventures invested $300,000 on the project and the service was launched on July 4, 1996.

In less than six months, the website attracted over 1 million subscribers. As the interest in the web-based email provider increased, Microsoft eventually took notice and on December 30, 1997, Hotmail was sold to Microsoft for a reported sum of $400 million.

The Langkawi islands
The Langkawi island is a group of 99 islands (as stated in tourism brochures) and is located in the north western part of Peninsular Malaysia.  It is also known locally as an island of legends. Tourists visiting the main island (Pulau Langkawi) on their sightseeing round island tour will most often hear their tour guides recounting the various story book history tales and local fables.

Hotmail Founder Sabeer To Marry In Exotic Langkawi

NEW DELHI, Feb 6 (Bernama) — Hotmail founder, Indian-born Sabeer Bhatia, who became an overnight millionaire after selling his web-based e-mail service to Microsoft, plans to get hitched in Langkawi Island next month.

Sabeer, 40, chose Langkawi as his preferred venue to wed Tania Sharma, on March 9, and dignitaries from far and wide are expected to bless the marriage at the Taj Rebak Marina Resort located on the world famous island.

“We wanted an exclusive island for the wedding. Sabeer wanted to have it in Hawaii but it would be too far for our guests. We were thinking of Phuket, Bangkok or Koh Samui (Thailand) but decided on Langkawi,” R.K. Sharma, the father of the bride-to-be, told Bernama.

Apple MacBook Air Notebook 

Pretty much sexy, uh? Every element is super sharp, the hidden ports are a thing of beauty, and the backlit keyboard is certainly a nice touch. It’s almost silly how light it is, and multitouch is smooth as butter. With the dimensions and curves Apple is playing with, we can almost forgive the lack of removable battery.

What the point of making things so thin if they’re going to look like this? Wouldn’t it have been nicer to add a touchscreen and a swivel hinge? It would probably make it a little bulkier/heavier, but all the slimming effort would have given them a really nice tablet, wich are more weight-sensitive than a latop since you are supposed to use them while holding them.
