Hujah Dr. Asri Zainul about ISA in Malaysia

Dr. Asri Zainul helps to clarify alot of unanswered questions about Islam especially for the non-muslims who seem to be very interested in the various undang undang of Islamic law of late. By the way, what kind of role those Islamic organizations in our country play when they ganged up with the government to fitnah against Raja Petra? Is there any way to rectify the tense situation when different set of Islamic organisation preach different rules and order?

Etika Tunduk Cium Hormat Pemimpin

The Cabinet Committee overseeing ceremonial affairs has set out the following guidelines for the correct way of greeting or paying homage the Malaysian way.

For your understanding (and perhaps compliance?)

The correct way to pay homage/greet:

  1. Bow at 90 degrees
  2. Clutch hand of the person you are greeting with both hands
  3. Tilt head to slightly the right for maximum “feel”
  4. Purse lips to kiss approx 1 inch

see example below:

His method of greeting is called “Bonama”. Translated as ingratiate (bodek) to (nak) death (mampus). Funny, LOL!

Ubah Gaya Hidup Malaysian People?

Ubah Gaya Hidup Malaysia People? Government BN killing its own rakyat softly. The Malaysia Government move to give fuel rebates to consumers is a further insult to our intelligence. The Malaysia Prime Minister said further that the money saved will be used to offset the world food crisis. This was the same logic given when the Malaysia Government came out with the 30 sen fuel hike. Then, we were taken for a ride and told the money will be used to improve the public transportation system.

The Malaysia Government will be learning their lessons the hard way. Jumps in food prices will follow suit. Raw food has to be transported from the farms/warehouses to the retail outlets. The cost of transportation will increase and this increase will be passed to the consumers like you and me.

While the govt. leaders are asking the people to change their life style, these leaders aren’t showing any sign of wanting to change their own life style. They view their role as the people’s bosses, when they should remember we are their bosses.

What is going to be the impact of this huge oil price increase? For one thing, demand for private car travel should fall, according to economic theory. People should take their cars out of the porch only when it is absolutely necessary, like going to work, if no other transportation alternative exists. No need to go to the grocery shop by car if it is only walking distance.
