In order to earn more from your website, one of the most important things you need is the traffic because the more traffic you get, the more are the chances that you will earn more from different programs. Generating traffic is not at all difficult. Just try these steps and I sure it will help you as well as it helped me when I started my first blog. These are some of the ways that can bring a lot of traffic for most of the people. But other then these ways you should also focus on Search Engine rankings which are much more important. So do some search engine optimization first and then go for traffic generation from other ways.

Here are some ways to generate targeted traffic to you website which might take days or can work within hours.

* One of the most important thing which brings you good traffic is the content. The better the content, more people will read it. So write unique content with unique keywords that attract the visitors and are searched by people, write killer description that is interesting for the reader and submit them to different article submission sites. The article will appear within few days in the article sites and that will bring some good traffic. So, this point basically focuses on your Content.

* Another Way of bringing good traffic are the Social Bookmarking sites like Digg, StumbleUpon, Delicious etc. They can bring floods of traffic but for some reason I don’t like the traffic from some of the social bookmarking sites like StumbleUpon and some other. Though Digg brings some good traffic and there are chances that you get traffic from search engines as when someone search for something and digg results might show on top and you ll get good traffic.

* Third way is to post on forums and blogs that have the same niche as you and commenting on other blogs. Use your site’s url in the signature and be a regular poster there. This way is actually really good although it brings less traffic compared to the above two but it has other benefits as well and the most important benefit among all is Link Building and it will improve the site’s page rank and so it will be higher on search engine results page for specific searches.
